Lori’s Story
Lori was born and raised in Springfield, MO. She has been involved in the construction industry most of her life. Her first job was helping her dad around his custom cabinet shop doing whatever he needed help with. Whether sweeping sawdust, running errands, or helping in the office. After graduating from MO State University with a BS in Accounting she started working at Horton Supply Company. Lori has been at Horton Supply Company over 30 years and is the Accounting Manager. She has watched the company grow from 15 employees to over 50, seen it branch out to surrounding states, and add a heavy equipment line.
Lori has one adult daughter. In her free time she enjoys traveling, camping, being outdoors or on the water, and spending time with family and friends. She also loves the Kansas City Chiefs!
What Lori Appreciates About NAWIC
What I appreciate about NAWIC is the opportunity to meet women making a positive difference in the construction industry. NAWIC offers a support system of women in not only business relationships but personal, as well. I look forward to continuing to learn about the construction industry and watching and helping other women succeed.”
